Length - I gave up debating the right and wrong of length ages ago. I'm short, but I like longer-ish things cuz after two kids, well, longer-ish is just better. I did appreciate her personal reasons for not wanting to knit each of the garments. I bet a dozen knitters could run through that same list and have a myriad of different likes and dislikes.
