37th Anniversary Sale!

Share Button

Hi Everyone,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there is no podcast this week, but we didn’t want to go by the first weekend of our Anniversary Sale without sharing some yarn with you!

This year marks our 37th anniversary and once again we’re celebrating with a two-month sale! We have a couple of yarns that will be on sale during both April and May, but the rest of what you see is only available at the sale price this month. Come May 1st, we’ll have a whole new batch of yarns up for sale on the site, so if you see something you like, make sure you grab it this month. You’ll find yarns for knitting, crochet, and weaving in our sale.

So what’s in the sale? Take a look at all the yarns here on our site, and I’ll highlight a few for you on the blog (and it was very hard to choose!).

Cascade 220 (on sale April and May)

Cascade 220 is a favorite, and it’s not hard to see why! WEBS has over 100 colors of this worsted weight 100% wool. It comes in 100 gram hanks with 220 yards, so it’s a great deal at the regular price, but at $4.95 it’s incredible!

Mirasol Miski

Mirasol Miski is an incredibly soft, warm 100% baby llama yarn. The colors are beautiful and slightly heathered. This yarn is warm, but also light, so it’s great for accessories and garments. The rich colors also look beautiful together, so multicolored projects are stunning in Miski.

Classic Elite Classic Silk

Classic Elite Classic Silk is a lovely blend of cotton, silk, and nylon. The different fibers combine to create an almost tweedy appearance. I have quite a bit of this yarn in my stash! Classic Elite also has great yarn support with their free web-letter and in their pattern books.

Noro Silk Garden Sock

How can we have a sale and not include Noro? Silk Garden Sock takes the popular Silk Garden and lightens it up into a yarn that’s perfect for lace or socks. Noro’s fantastic colorways never disappoint. I’m currently using Silk Garden Sock to crochet a Babette (a very long term project!).

For weavers, you’ll find great staples like 5/2 Valley Cotton, and beautiful yarns like our 60/2 Silk and Rayon Chenille.

Make sure you check out our drafts too! We have a free draft for Stash Reduction Placemats that use 5/2 Valley Cotton. I really like these placemats because you hold several colors together to weave with, and I’m always looking for ways to bring punches of color into my kitchen.

I wish I had the space to feature every yarn in the sale because there are so many fantastic yarns. Check them all out on our site!

Happy Shopping!
