My favorites are Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock, and Fibernymph Dyeworks’ Bounce, because the colorways are gorgeous.

Regia Silk 4-ply which, so unfortunately, has been discontinued. It is the best sock yarn I’ve found for withstanding the abrasion of my left big toe which sticks up and very quickly cuts through every other sock yarn I’ve tried. It must be the nylon/silk blend that add strength to the wool. Socks made in this yarn also machine-wash very well, and are soft too. I’m quite upset that it is disappearing.

I have a couple… I’m a big fan of BMFA’s Socks that Rock. Anytime I’m in a funk, handling that sproingy, beautifully colored yarn cheers me up. I’m also in love with Pagewood Farm’s St. Elias because of the BFL. I also recently discovered DiC’s Everlasting. It has such gorgeous stitch definition! I’m plotting a sweater out of the heavy-weight version already.

Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock is a favorite of mine for hand dyed sock yarn, but Trekking XXL is my favorite mass produced sock yarn for colors and it wears really well.
