The end of May not only marked the end of our Anniversary sale but the end of our fundraiser for Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Overall WEBs raised $250 for the pediatric unit at Cooley Dickinson!

You might remember that we mentioned an employee contest called “Dress your Bear” encouraging employees to buy and decorate bears. No incentive was really needed for the staff to buy stuffed animals, and the creativity was fun to see unfold, from the scheming and planning, to the supply buying.

The final day for submissions was the last day of May and our raucous group of drop in ladies helped choose the winners!

First place: Liz with her sheep bear (top, middle), if you look closely you can see the small patch of knitting it’s knitting from its fleece

Second place: Deb with Lady Gaga bear (bottom right)

Third place: Malea with roller derby bear (bottom left)

I’d say the prizes were well deserved wouldn’t you?
