That way we have more freedom to explore Rhinebeck & follow our own schedule. Also, he wasn't keen to spend hours on a bus with a bunch of women talking about knitting. Just wait; he will love the Festival. I don't know if I'll be able to persuade him to take up knitting, but I guarantee he will appreciate all the craftsmanship there -- & the food!
