della Q Contest – The August Edition
Hi Everyone
It’s time for another fun giveaway with our friends from della Q! This month we are giving away a Solely Sock Case:
The Solely Sock Case holds up to six sets of dpns up to 6″ long. Three pockets on the left are 1/2 inch wide and the three pockets on the right are 5/8th wide which means you can store up to about a needle size 5. You could also store small crochet hooks plus there’s also a small zippered pocked for stitch markers, etc. This is a super functional, super cute case.
To qualify for the drawing, please leave a comment below and also leave a comment on the della Q blog. The contest closes next Wednesday, August 11th and we’ll announce the winner next Thursday! When leaving your comment here, please tell me what sock yarn you love the most!
Enjoy!
Kathy

I don’t have a favorite sock yarn yet since I just finished my first pair of socks TODAY! woo hoo! But I would love to try some Austermann Stepp next. I’ve heard many great things about it.

Looks like an amazing case! My favorite sock yarn tends to be whatever I’m knitting with at the moment – in this case, Socks That Rock.

Wow! I’ve wanted a Soley Sock case since I first saw one at The Mannings booth at MD Sheep and Wool several years ago. I’m just starting to knit socks, so I don’t have a lot of experience with sock yarn. I’ve tried Fortissima, and liked it. My favorite yarn, though, is JaggerSpun Zephyr!

The needle case is so pretty! There are so many wonderful sock yarns. Thanks to Webs I could afford to try a goodly number of them (mostly as closeout, I must confess). I don’t have a favorite sock yarn yet but then I haven’t tried all of them. It is always fun to try a new yarn.

The sock case is beautiful. I like a lot of different sock yarns but one that stands out is Opal because that’s what I used on my first pair of socks 🙂

Count me in on the contest. My favorite sock yarn is self-striping yarn: especially Versper.

I have begun knitting again after several years. I had never knit socks until this summer and I find that I love it and the Berroco yarns.

I loooove Della Q cases and knitting socks. My favorite “sock” yarn is Noro Kureyon Sock but I have never actually knit socks with it. I usually use it for shawls and scarves. For socks, I prefer Lorna’s Laces Shepherd sock.

Though I’m new to sock knitting, currently on my second pair, I already know I love Dream in Color Smooshy!

If I were to neatly organise my knitting needles in such a gorgeous holder, Im sure I would knit error free garments ( the gorgeousness neatness, you understand, having osmosed into my reading of patterns, etc )
