Thanks to everyone who left a comment.  I loved reading all of stories.  I was taught to crochet by my neighbor Mrs. Trombley when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade.  She was a learning specialist and did a lot of craft projects with her students.  She would often test drive them with me first.  She was from Germany and always pronounced my name “Kasleen”.  She was lovely and I always enjoyed my time with her.
