Free Pattern Thursday
Hi Everyone,
Continuing with last week’s quick-knit theme, we have two super speedy scarves, both from Rowan.
The first is the Goodwood Scarf. It is super simple and knit in Rowan Big Wool and Rowan Drift. Choose your two favorites (coordinating, or not!) and knit away.
The chunky yarns mean this will fly off the needles!
The second scarf, Cora, is a huge cable knit in Rowan Colourscape.
I love the way the colors shift and the cable twists and turns!
How are your projects going? I think I’m in pretty good shape, though I keep adding projects – a hat here, mittens there!

I, too, seem to add projects at the last minute. I often make ornaments, as a little something to decorate a package or go with a gift card. This year I’m crocheting snow flakes–pretty quick! Yesterday I decided to crochet my nephew a hat, which I need to mail on Monday. I’ll probably get it done, but if not I’ll send an IOU. Last January I completed some ornaments that I hadn’t finished in time for Christmas 09, and put them aside, so now I have a few extra. I’ll try to do that this year, too, since I know I won’t finish everything on time. Good luck with your projects!
