Hi Everyone,

This week’s free pattern, and our last for 2010 (where did this year go?) is Shoal from Berroco.

This crocheted variation of a traditional Shetland Hap shawl is super cozy. It’s crocheted in Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine. I have some of this yarn in my stash that I’ve been thinking about using to whip this up. I’m especially attracted to this shawl because it can also be used as a lap blanket. I think it would look great on the back of my chair here at the office so I could it handy when I inevitably get cold.

Any big knitting or crochet plans for 2011? I have more sock yarn than I care to admit, so I think 2011 is going to be the year I put a dent in that.
