Free Pattern Thursday – Flamingo from Spud & Chloë
Hi Everyone!
I love this week’s free pattern! It is from Spud & Chloë and is an adorable Flamingo.
I love the series of patterns they have that have balls inside of the animals. I knit the bunny with a tennis ball in its belly. The Flamingo has a Pinky Hi-Bounce ball inside, and according to Susan B. Anderson on the Spud & Chloë blog, the flamingo will bounce. My grandmother was a fan of flamingos, so this little guy brings a smile to my face.
The Flamingo is knit with Spud & Chloë Sweater and Blue Sky Alpacas Cotton for the black. Both yarns are beautiful and lovely to work with.
As the warmer weather sets in here (it’s supposed to be nearly 100 degrees today!), small projects like this are tons of fun.
Happy Knitting!
Mary

I LOVE this! but although I spin and weave, I am a dork when it comes to knitting. Seeing this little cutie inspires me to try again!
