Free Pattern Thursday: Knit and Crocheted Rabbit
Hi Everyone,
This week we have two free patterns. They are next in our series of little “critters” that started with our penguin and polar bear.
I would like to introduce to you our Rabbit. We have both a knit and crocheted version. They are worked in Valley Yarns Amherst.
Why a rabbit you ask? Well, the Chinese New Year is celebrated on February 3rd and the coming year is the year of the rabbit.
We also had a few misses on our idea for January. Kathy thought that “Baby New Year” would be a great idea, but as you can see from the picture it just wasn’t quite right.
Then Kirsten thought that maybe a champagne bottle would work. Cute, but some of us thought it looked a little more like a fig.
And then we came to our rabbit, which you may also want to bookmark for April because I think our rabbit could easily double as a bunny!
Happy Knitting and Crocheting!
Mary
