Free Pattern Thursday – Vexillo Blanket from Berroco
Hi Everyone,
As you’ve read on the blog, we’ve got a lot of babies happening around here, so we’re all on the lookout for projects. The Vexillo pattern from our friends at Berroco is a great blanket that is worked in Berroco Sox.
The strips are knit separately and then assembled, so this could be a great take along summer project! And, since it is just garter stitch, it’s great for nearly any skill level, and perfect for those days you just want to be doing something with your hands and not thinking too much. Berroco Sox has some great colors available (the one in the picture isn’t available, but there are 21 others to choose from!).
I love that this is knit with sock yarn! It gives you lots of options and creates a great weight of blanket – not too heavy! Check out the link to the pattern here.
Happy Knitting!
Mary
