Holla Knits Accessories Blog Tour and Giveaway
Holla Knits recently released their Accessories 2012 collection. It is a great group of accessory patterns including one by WEBS-own Emma Welford. Emma is our purchasing coordinator and has recently jumped into designing and we love all of the projects she is creating.
Featured in Holla Knits Accessories 2012, Emma has the Wallpaper Cowl. Valley Yarns Northfield and Valley Yarns Huntington are paired in this great design. The cowl is knit in Northfield and it is lined with Huntington.
We love the bold colorwork pattern paired with the solid lining. It’s a great way to experiment with color and a fantastic way to brighten up a neutral wardrobe. I have a lot of black and gray in my closet and I think I may pick some favorite colors of Northfield and knit this for myself!
Since we’re so excited about Emma’s design and the entire Holla Knits Accessories 2012 collection, we’re giving away the Northfield and Huntington you need to knit the cowl.
Just leave a comment with the color combination of Northfield and Huntington you would use by 9:00AM EDT on Monday, October 29th.

That is such a cool cowl! Though maybe only because I am addicted to colorwork right now. I am in love with the bold, I would use grape for the background, seaspray for the colorwork pattern and brown sugar for the lining.

Maybe Northfield in Balsam & Tranqblue and Huntington in Navy.
October 23rd, 2012 at 7:59 pm
Olive and haze would be gorgeous!
October 23rd, 2012 at 9:15 pm
If the Hungtington is the CC I love the bright yellow (Mustard) with a gray tone in the Northfield (either Charcoal or Haze). If it’s the other way around, I’d love to make this pattern knit with the Summerplum Northfield with either the Sea Gull or the Artic Hungtington.

Would love to knit this up in Haze and Charcoal, lined in Forest.
October 23rd, 2012 at 9:50 pm

Wow, beautiful pattern. Since my favorite season is fall, regardless of how close winter is, I would choose Northfield’s Firedance and Chestnut and Huntington’s Harvest Orange. Makes me want to go out and play in the leaves thinking about the colors of both the cowl and the leaves.

I think the cowl would look great in Charcoal and Firedance, then lined with Harvest Orange.
October 25th, 2012 at 4:41 pm
