On the bookshelf this week: Scarf Style 2
With the Thanksgiving holiday not yet 24 hours behind us some of you have kicked into overdrive to get your holiday gift knitting finished. Ann Budd’s new book, Scarf Style 2, is a great resource for smaller, fast and yet beautiful knit gifts.
Whether you’re a fan of cables, fair isle or brioche, cowls, shawls or scarves this book has something for everyone!

I love a scarf I can wrap once or twice around my neck, and tuck my nose into it when the cold wind/snow blows in Minnesota; would love this book

I absolutely lurve long cowls and infinity scarves. And I love making anything with lace; nothing better than making a long lacy cowl in the round to really relax me. 🙂

how about mink? The one from Lotus yarns is great!, it small gauge, but the yarn is heavenly and reasonably priced for what it is. 😉

I love infinity scarves. It’s easy if you want just one layer or loop it around a few more times for more warmth. The best part is that I can’t lose it! It won’t fall off my neck and so complimentary to the “relaxed” style I’m always sporting.

I love knitting scarves and cowls for others in soft yarns that cuddle the neck. I loved the 1st scarf book and am sure the 2nd one is just a great.

I’m in love with that 3d scarf! Wow! That is unique. I am a big fan of entrelec scarves. I think the pattern takes a boring scarf to fun and unique!

I like to knit scarves that are simple, but have an interesting pattern. I’m working on a scarf in a Fibonacci pattern that is coming out pretty well.
