Ready, Set, Knit #105 – Interview with Kate Jacobs
This week on Ready, Set, Knit! we welcome back New York Times best-selling author, Kate Jacobs. Author of The Friday Night Knitting Club, Kate talks with us about her new novel, Knit Two. The book picks up five years later, with many of the original characters returning, along with a few new ones.
Kate will be coming back to WEBS on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 for a lunchtime event. More details to follow, but mark your calendars now! You can see her complete tour schedule at www.katejacobs.com
Knit Two will be available beginning November 25th!
Pixie and I kick off the next KAL this week as well. Our time was a bit short due to the interview with Kate and Steve’s yarn talk. We are not scheduling a guest next week in order to give Pixie plenty of time!
Lastly, we have almost completed the process of converting the links on the show notes and finalizing getting all of the older KAL/CAL info up on the website. Sorry for the delay!
Listen to this week’s episode or via iTunes!
Enjoy

I’m looking for the pattern for the next KAL which Pixie described. I looked on the Knitters Universe/downloads site and didn’t see it. Can you post a link, please?
Thanks!

Hi Carol
Knitting Universe is have some “technical difficulties” with their site. I just sent them an email this morning asking if we can post the pattern on our site. I’m sure I’ll hear from them shortly.

Probably one of the hardest things anyone can do is try and learn something new. Congrats to anyone who tries.
