OK, I’m doing the Classic Elite 3-Button Jacket and decided to use this as an opportunity to learn something new, the Tubular Cast On that Pixie suggested as a way to cast on. But, as I look for ways to do this cast on, I am getting confused. Is it true that this cast on is designed for starting ribbing? If so, how does it fit with this jacket, which I do not think of as ribbed. Do you have a suggested way to do the Tubular Cast On that works with this jacket? Help! I’m tempted to just move on to my regular long-tailed cast-on, but I’ve invested so much time inthis tubular thing that I’m not ready to give it up. Help!
