Kathy talks with Betsy Perry about how Classic Elite Yarns changed up their new yarn and Pattern release schedule. Instead of seeing a whole collection of new yarns and dozens of patterns each season, they have spread everything out, releasing a new yarn with supporting patterns each month.

The new yarn from Classic Elite in June was Villa which is interchangeable with Vail and has great pattern support. The newest yarn, from July, is the Mohawk Wool in a beautiful undyed color palate, which also has great pattern support, like the Kimball Shawl pictured above.

Classic Elite Yarns are also featured in Vogue Knitting, Early Fall 2014 in the Scoop Neck Pullover as well as two sock patterns with the Striped Socks and the Hound’s Tooth Socks. And don’t miss Maleficent’s Cloak from Enchanted Knits.

The text says this week’s podcast is with Betsy Perry, but instead we hear a repeat of last week’s podcast with Linda Pratt.
