Guest: Linda Pratt from Westminster Fibers
Kathy and Linda chat about Rowan’s partnership with Amy Butler – Belle Organic DK ($8.95, discountable) and Belle Organic Aran ($8.95, discountable) as well as the Midwest Modern pattern book. The pattern book includes home decor, garments, and accessories.
The colors are lovely and reflect the use of the yarn and Amy’s palette. The projects in the book are extremely wearable and comfortable.
Kathy and Linda chat about the Helping Hands program through TNNA. It started out as the Needlework Mentoring program. It began with a group of schoolchildren in coastal Oregon as an after-school program. It has grown to about 105 programs throughout the country. It is meant to teach children about fiber, whether it’s after-school, Girl Scouts, or Boys Scouts.
If you’re interested, you can contact the program though the website, phone, or mail. You would receive the program materials and if you need materials, those are available.
