Yarns

Guest: Betsy Perry from Classic Elite Yarns share a Fall preview with us.
http://classiceliteyarns.com/
Betsy discusses yarns for Fall, including Fresco, and the beautiful patterns designed for all of the new Classic Elite Yarns.
Ariosa is also discussed, which has 10% cashmere, which softens the merino even further.
Moorland is a blend of merino, baby alpaca, mohair, and acrylic. This yarn has a very flexible gauge, and can be knit to create many different fabrics.
Betsy also shares with us a few tidbits as to why acrylic is added to some yarns. (It’s not a bad thing!)
Summer Sox is a great cotton blend sock yarn
Also for Fall, Classic Elite has joined with Jil Eaton to create Minnow Merino. This yarn is incredibly soft, with beautiful bright colors and, most importantly, it’s machine washable!
Portland Tweed is another new Classic Elite yarn. It is 50% wool, 25% alpaca, and 25% viscose DK weight tweed that is on the softer side.
