Guest: Edie Eckman, author of many books, including Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs. Edie shares with us how she started knitting and crocheting and talks with Kathy about her latest book. The first part of the book includes information on how to crochet, and the rest of the book includes many different shaped motifs from circles to triangles and beyond.

Knitalong with Pixie: The state of knitting in France is not as good as it is here. In Paris, there is a shop full of yarn and necessities, along with smaller shops, but when you get outside Paris, it gets dicey. You can find yarn in some of the department store, but the yarn is more like craft store yarn. There are some yarn stores in the malls, but they usually sell knitted clothing as well. The selling of yarn is not their main business.
