The Buzz at WEBS – June 3, 2011
This week the staff at WEBS is buzzing about…
1. Myths & Fairytales eBook by Tori Gurbisz – I fell in love with Tori’s beautiful collection of shawls the first time I saw them on Ravelry. But it’s The Mermaid’s Gift shawl that I find most stunning. Knit in Malabrigo Lace, this airy shawl has just the right amount of beading along the edge. Perfect match with a sundress on a summer’s evening, or great as a scarf as fall approaches. > Dena C.
2. Cascade Yarns Kid Seta – This new closeout is just like the Kidsilk Haze, but at a great price. > Gail C.
3. Briggs & Little Heritage – I love rustic “wooly” wools so much. A co-worker jokes that it’s like cashmere to me. Heritage is resonably priced, plus, the garments you’ll make will last forever. Love! > Melissa L.
4. Creepy Cute Crochet by Christen Haden – My 10 year-old daughter discovered this book in my stash over the weekend and was OBSESSED with learning to crochet in the round. She cannot live with herself until she has made the monkey with the fez 🙂 > Sara D.

I have 9 rabbits in all different colors. I would like to recycle their fur as they shed a ton. How can I connect with somebody who can make it into thread that you can knit with? I’m in Florida.

Hi I have 9 bunnies in all different colors. I’d like to give their fur to somebody to make into knitting yarn. Know anybody that does that? They are brushed weekly so there is a ton of fur. Really soft and pretty.

difficulty. You’re incredible! Thanks!
