This week the staff at WEBS is buzzing about…

1. Thera-Glove – I can knit longer with these crafting gloves on at night. You could also wear these when you’re not knitting or crocheting. > Heidi R.

2. c2knits knitting patterns – I am really loving this new pattern line.  They specialize in top-down, seamless designs that are simple to knit and easy to wear!  The minute they came in, staff was abuzz with excitement for the designs!  They also give you a list of yarns to use on the back of the pattern which is kind of nice to be able to check out each of the ones listed to pick what you like best. And now WEBS carries these as downloadable PDFs online. > Karen M.

3. Sara Delaney – I just finished the Crochet II series of classes this week with Sara, and am impressed with how much I learned in the 6 weeks. I left with so many tips and skills that I feel I can really tackle a crochet pattern on my own that goes beyond the basics. She’s teaching some interesting classes this summer too. > Dena C.

4. Frabjous Fibers Hand Dyed Silky Cashmerino – If there’s any left of this after the employees have their way with it, I would recommend scooping it up immediately! The familiar colorways of Frabjous merino fibers are reintroduced in this new lovely merino/silk/cashmere blend spinning fiber. This fiber is hard for me not to touch and pet and fondle. But it’s just as lovely to look at as to touch. I’m transfixed by the strands of silk that pick up the dye differently leaving little streaks of color. So lovely! > Cara S.

5. Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn – Summer’s a great time to knit socks, and Silk Garden Sock’s got some amazing colorways. And it’s a closeout right now for almost half off! I’m planning on getting two skeins and making striped knee socks. > Kirstin H.
