This week, we’re buzzing about gorgeous yarns, fun accessories, and our Tent Sale!

1. Jade Sapphire Moonlight! 50% cashmere and 50% combed mink. Just in this week! The softest spun yarn I’ve ever had the pleasure of touching. The two fibers are plied lightly together giving the yarn a marled look. As usual Jade Sapphire provides a sophisticated color palette (as usual I love the teal and mulberry colors). Can’t wait to find a little neckerchief pattern to busy my fingers with! > Cara S.

2. I’m super excited about our upcoming Fleece Market on May 14th. It is part of our Tent Sale that takes place at the store on May 14th and 15th. If you near enough to drive, this is a great event! It’s so fun to chat with shepherds and vendors in our parking lot and with all of the customers who travel to the event. I also love checking out the fiber and yarns the vendors bring along. > Mary K-H

3. When the weather turns a bit warmer in our area I quickly shed my winter coat, but still value my shawls and the options for layering they give me on cool spring evenings and breezy afternoons. One of my favorites is knit with Malabrigo Sock, which is light, soft, so easy to knit, and has just enough shine to add a little something special to plain stockinette.  I used Chocolate Amargo and Persia for a gorgeous color combo. > Tina M.

4. Usually I stick with basic functional stitch markers, but these new Della Q Clay Sheep Stitch Markers are worth splurging on. Too cute to resist, especially the mixed bag–what better way to remind myself of increases or decreases than with a happy sheep? > Emma W.

5. Jade Sapphire Silk Cashmere: I walk by and touch this yarn when I’m having a bad day. So it’s no surprise that it’s a consistently favorite splurge of mine. The hand is out of this world, the color saturation is breathtaking and the fiber content needs no introduction. I’ve made shawl after shawl out of this yarn for even the fussiest recipient, and am even working on a very indulgent little cardigan! > Cara S. (she’s wearing Citron in the photo.)

Doesn’t it look awesome! Not many people can carry blonde or brunette as well as she does!
