No hedging on edging.

My first podcast! I really enjoyed it!

I love the images from this book. I think decorative crochet edgings are one of the most beautiful treatments for any knitted garment. How great to be able to have a book for such great inspiration

Such pretty edgings! Add a few inches of “body”.. instant shawl for those of us who’ve never made one yet!

I would love to create a collection of crochet books including this new book by Kristin Omdahl! The edgings are gorgeous and I love everything she designs, I would love to win this book!

This is a must have book for those of us who are unimpressed with ordinary knitted edges and would like to add more beauty to our work. This book definitely needs to be in my knitting/crochet library. I sure would love to win it!

I am new to Webs and your podcasts. I am going to have to start at the beginning. I am working on stretching my skill as I want to start designing crochet projects.

Wow! What a great resource. I can think of many ways that I would use this book. And I might even learn to be a better crocheter. Thanks for the give-away.

Love love Kristin’s patterns! Fingers crossed!

I have a small knitting business and find new ideas always helpful toward giving variety and a sense of the special to products for sale. This book would clearly prove helpful in that. I also am a member of a weekly group of knitters and crocheters with whom I would share the book.

I was intrigued by your conversation on the podcast about using crocheted edgings on knitted items. I’m primarily a knitter but I would love to explore some of the edgings in this book to add interest to the shawls I love to knit.

Hi, I received an email from WEBS about the podcast contest, so went
through the motions of setting up iTunes on my new phone and subscribing
to this interview. I thought I would listen to a few so I could comment. I have only just listened to the Finer Edge interview on Ready Set Knit, and will listen to it a few times more.
My goal is to teach shawl and sock knitting and to design some of my own. I love to knit and can also crochet. I like the finer fabrics, so my crochet has
been in thread most of the time in the past. The idea of combining Kristen’s
edges/fabric with my shawl designs has my head spinning.
I decided to get your book right away, and then you mentioned this contest. So
let’s see if I’m randomly picked, and if not, then the book is the next
on my list of things to do. I am 63, and have raised 6 kids since I was 15 – the second bunch of 3 are my grandchildren, the oldest is 28. Life is starting to slow down a bit and I want to teach knitting and have a shop and design shawls.

This is beautiful, I love the design, color, everything.

Oh wow, this looks like a fabulous book, and I’ve used crochet edges on every single one of my knitted winter scarves. I’m so much better at crochet than knitting, and I love combining both in my projects as much as possible. Thanks for this great opportunity.

I’d love to win a copy of this book. What a wonderful resource of edgings.

Thanks to WEBS for the crochet love! This book would be so helpful in designing shawl borders! And I love your 2/14 alpaca silk.

I met Kristin at Stitches Midwest – what a great lady! It would be wonderful to win a copy of her new book and bottle of Wrapture.

When I was 7 my mother taught me to crochet by having me crochet lace edges on linen hankies. I still remember the thin thread in shades of pink, and mom pulling out the edge whenever I made a mistake. I must have crocheted the edge on each hankie ten times before I learned to take care. I don’t think I’ll return to such fine crochet, but your book makes me think of many creative things I would like to do combining crochet with my knitting.

I would love to crochet with this thread, I’ve never tried it. My Nane used to crochet finer items.

Can’t wait to try your new jasmine scent on my sheets.

I’ve wanted to learn how to crochet and the trims look so cool that I want to learn now!

I thank you for the opportunity to win this amazing gift package! I am relatively new to crochet and loving it! Learning how to do fancy lovely edges things would be great! I have a couple books now on the stitches and this would be a lovely match up.
Thanks again for the chance!
