Yes! Used sticky notes and highlighter tape for all of the above. Wonderful invention to use for so many applications. I have also used them to keep track of repeats by moving them to different sections of the pattern when I don't have a pen available to make hash marks.

I use sticky notes to tag patterns that I want to try in my knitting books and magazines. During projects for other people, I keep the important measurements on a sticky attached to the pattern so I don't have to pester them mid-project.

They are great for making notes on patterns that you've borrowed and don't want to permanently mark.

I'm a rigid heddle weaver and need to make notes when weaving something which involves threading in the pick-up stick(s) in repeatable patterns for floats, Post- It note stuck to the table or loom keepds me on track.

I use a single post it stuck right above my position in the knitting chart. That way I can see where stitches are supposed to line up with the previous row (in effect, checking myself so at most, I'm a row or two away from any mistake), but I'm not distracted by the upcoming rows. Usually one regular post-it is wide enough to span the entire repeat, so I don't feel wasteful! I also put my pattern inside a sheet protector, so it is protected, and somehow this seems to help the glue last longer on the post-it as well.

I use index cards clipped to my pattern.
Will also put the pattern ( if there is one) on index cards.
