I knit my Dachshund a sweater in Valley Yarns Northampton using the Denim Heather color. He loves wearing it, and the yarn was a joy to knit! Most dog sweater patterns don't work very well for Dachshunds because of their short legs, so I designed my own pattern and knit a prototype first from some leftover acrylic yarn in my stash. I knew I wanted to use Northampton for the second one and it came out just as I had pictured. He looks dashing in his denim sweater, and I'll definitely use Northampton for other projects - it's a winner, the yardage is amazing and the price is right!

I made Aaren by Kim Hargreaves for My daughter. She selected the pattern and yarn. And her first time wearing it was actually in Northampton on our way home from a skating competition! We both love the yarn and will use it again. Great stitch definition and no itch.
