WEBS #howweknit Instagram Contest
We want to know how YOU knit!
Over the course of the next week we’re asking you to show us how you knit! Post an image or short video of yourself knitting to Instagram. You’ll be entered to win some great prizes, and it’s easy to participate!
Take a picture or short video of yourself knitting, be sure to include the hashtag #howweknit and don’t forget to tag @websyarn Upload that file to Instagram between 12:00am(midnight) on August 17 and 11:59pm EDT on August 24th to be entered.
Throughout the week we’ll show you more of how we knit and and other special peeks behind the scenes at WEBS, so be sure to follow @websyarn on Instagram, but for now you can enjoy a look at how we knit.
On August 25th, we’ll post the two winners here on our blog. Each winner will receive a limited edition Della Q bag stuffed with a full project kit for either the Nikiya Cowl or the Centuria Tam.
If you’re not yet on Instagram but want to join in simply download the app (it’s FREE!) to your smartphone, a few easy steps later and you’ll have your account all set-up!
Please Note: If your Instagram account is set as Private we won’t be able to find your post when we’re ready to pull the winner.

Nice contest for knitters to win yarn. I do crochet and knit, but mostly crochet. What about a chance for crocheters to win yarn.

We’re just testing the waters with our first Instagram contest. We love crocheters and have contest plans in the works for you too!

I don`t have and don`t want a instagam account. I don`t even have a cell phone. I don`t need it. I`m a senior living on a fixed income.

Does my Instagram profile have to be public to participate in contests?

What is Instagram? I’m a knitter not a techi.

I wish Webs (and lots of other craft places) would remember those of us who don’t twitter, tweet, follow instagram and such, and run fun stuff on “old-fashioned” email!!

I agree! Can’t wait to see some love for the crocheters! 🙂

Looking forward to the crochet version! Live instagram and Webs! I don’t knit, but will definitely play along when there’s a contest for crocheters!

I love it when I can connect with fellow crafters on social media. I’m sorry that you don’t share my enthusiasm, but there’s no way I’d be able to see how you or hundreds of others knit if you just sent an “old-fashioned email”. This is why technology exists and I applaud Webs for embracing it!

Well, I suddenly have an instagram account, now I just need to get my gadgets, that currently are in time-out on a shelf, to work with me in making a video. XD

I agree with HL. Why not give opportunity to others who don’t use social media out of choice and just use plain e-mail s.

In the future, you should know that if you use the hashtag, others will be able to see your image, even if it’s a private IG account.
