What is she wearing in the Sh*t Knitters Say Video?
Inspired by the recent “Sh*t People Say” videos, we thought it would be fun to do one for knitters too.
After putting our Sh*t Knitters Say video up on YouTube this past Friday, we’ve had a lot of questions asking what Emma is wearing or knitting in the video. Below you’ll find a bunch of handy links to all of the sweaters, hats, and mittens making an appearance in the video.

Did we miss anything? Let us know in the comments if there’s anything else you saw in the video that you’ve got to know what it is.
Happy Knitting!

This is awesome! The only thing you missed is, “Hang on! I just need to finish this row!” 🙂

I love this video. I have watched it at least five times this weekend.
Now for a very important question: Where does Emma get her hair color? Because I color my hair red, and I have been ISO of the perfect red shade since mine was apparently discontinued by Garnier. Help a fellow ginger and a knitter out!

Hi Kate! I use Ion Professional Products (you can find them at Sally Beauty) since I find they’re gentler and less smelly than box color and I also get better results. My current shade is Color Brilliance Creme Intense Red 7RR-7.66. I used 20 volume developer (also Ion, the purple bottle) but am going to switch to 30 volume soon for a brighter shade. It’s very easy, just equal parts developer and color, but I do have a hairdresser friend who advises me so I don’t screw up my hair. Hope that helps! I’m not a natural redhead but I sure wish I was!

Thank you for this video…..my 10 yr old daughter taught me to knit (and a lot of trial and error). I feel a little better after watching this awesome video that it IS normal (even for a seasoned knitter) to say all this sh*t…..love the checkout segment LOL….

Thank you so much for this! I adored this video, and it’s wonderful to think you guys know your ‘audience’ well enough to realise we’d need this kind of detail!

Loved the video. Question: what are you knitting in the car? It’s in the teal yarn with a lace pattern I like. Thanks in advance!
