Dena - I hadn't even begun thinking about yarn yet, but I have have some luscious cashmere I picked up at Stitches West a couple of years ago - and it's black! Need to dig that out and see if I have enough.

I knew when I saw the Frostbite Scarf, I had to make it. I have a skein of Mongolian Cashmere in my stash that I've been waiting for something special to use it for. I think we have a winner.

I am so honored to have you mention my Dragonfly Shawl!! Thank you so much :) I had so much fun designing this pattern, and I hope people love the end result as they work it up.

Each day I keep learning about new yarn places... and yours is one of them.. I must now go take a peak!

Sorry Lisa! I like the cover too but I was feeling like I was listing everything :)

The 10 ply Naturelle Aran knits at 5 sts on a #6-#8. We've got several options, but here are the ones I think are best:

Berroco - Inca Gold or Ultra Alpaca
Cascade 220
Classic Elite Inca Alpaca
Elsabeth Lavold Bambool
Misti Alpaca Suri Silk
Valley Yarns - Stockbridge, Northampton, Hadley

I tried to keep price in mind. If you think one or two of these might work, let me know. I think it will be very important to swatch first on this project.

You left off my favorite, the cover sweater with the bow! I'm looking for a substitute yarn (hint, hint) because the yarn used is too scratchy and warm for California. Happy New Year!

They were a blast to make and all based on patterns from Amigurumi World - except the monkey - he is an actual pattern in the book :) Oh and I lurve the sweater on the cover though I'm not sure about the big bow.
